Super Gran and Morgan

A cute kiddy photo I think is called for. This is Morgan (who will be 1 tomorrow) with his Great Grandmother, Mabel, who will be 98 in December. She is a fine lady and still very much with it. Don't they look just great together?!

Potatoes

Ok, this is a photo that I didn't take and you are probably thinking, why am I showing a pile of potatoes? It's because last night I saw an amazing film, Faith Like Potatoes. Words cannot describe what an awesome film this is! It basically talks about the faith of a man in South Africa and what happened to him and his family. I really recommend you get the book or buy the DVD. (Currently you can only get the DVD if you live in South Africa but I am sure other Christian bookshops will stock it sooner or later; or I hope they will! I bought the book yesterday for £4.99.) Wow, what a film!

My new kitchen - End of day 2

The completed end wall - don't worry, the carpet is going! (Thanks in advance Tony!)

My sink is back - new tiles to follow too. (Thank you too Paul!)

My existing washing machine and new intergrated dishwasher next to it!

My new kitchen - End of day 1

The end wall with some nice new cupboards.

The island has gone ... and my washing machine!

Who's nicked me cooker?

My new kitchen - But this is still the old one

Yup, he got rid of everything even the kitchen sink!

How can such a small kitchen cause all this rubbish?

My new kitchen - But not started.

The wall that backs onto my neighbour's currently empty.

The mini island thing that will soon go.

The sink and the wall to the outside. Hasta la vista, baby!

Too cute not to post

For the observant people you will see I have posted twice in one day and for the even more observant you will also see that this item isn't a photograph! Credit for the item goes to my 4 (soon to be 5) year old neice, Roma. She wanted to draw a picture of Auntie Becky and even managed to draw our baby in her tummy. When we asked Roma where Auntie Becky's arms were the reply was cute. She looked at us both in silence, "Whoops ... sorry". Too cute, enjoy her picture just as much as we do!

Thunderbirds are go!

I just know I am going to get mocked for this posting but quite frankly, "Am I bothered"? I have always been a huge fan of Thunderbirds and this is just some of my collection.

They don't make 'em the way they used to

One of my favourite places to go and walk around, Warwick Castle. Relaxing, beautiful grounds, a dungeon to house the mother in law and a wonderful rip-off tea room on site for that afternoon cuppa.

Roses are red ... and white

Rebekah mocks my photos of flowers but I happen to quite like them. The detail my new camera can pick is just amazing. What do you think?

Red 'phone box, red post box ... and some rubbish

A photograph from my last trip to London with Rebekah and our two friends, Chris and Helen. It's a really nice photo, red telephone box and red pillar box to match which was taken right near Buckingham Palace.

T'is a shame about all the bin bags that I didn't notice till afterwards! Still, it's a good photo and I like it all the same.

Ouch

Two cacti that I saw at the Birmingham Gardeners’ Weekend in Kings Heath. The lady wouldn't let me buy them, but at least I got a good photo!

Why did God never call them Margarineflys?

A great photo of a butterfly taken somewhere in Melbourne Zoo - January 2005

Wow at Weston Super Mare

I really like this photo because the people in the photo could be anybody - it was actually, Rebekah, Chris and Helen at Weston Super Mare on the last day of our holiday - August 2006
